Random Cedar Point Photos/Videos - July 2017

Will asked if I would post a dropbox link to my recent trip to Cedar Point so here you are. Enjoy!

For anyone interested in the Boneville Attraction that can only be viewed via the train (I didn't shoot this video):

Boneville at night:

The pics of the cabin are from Lighthouse Point. Lighthouse Point is within walking distance of the water park and one of the entrances to Cedar Point (I believe Cedar Point has 3 separate entrances/exits). This entrance is near Gemini / Magnum.

Unfortunately, Top Thrill was down both days we were at the park.  Frown

Very nice. Too many coasters. Not enough garbage can photos.

There are 4 Entrances, Main Gate, Marina (Ex- Marina/Cinema), Beach (Ex- Beach/Oceana), and Resort (Magum). That sucks about Dragster though.

Lagoon is actually pretty on par with Cedar Fair in regards to Garbage Cans, except Lagoon's don't have their Logo Plastered all over them, so they don't stick out as much.

Thanks for sharing the pix! Hope you had a fun time. That train ride is great. Lagoon should take note.
Rename Roller Coaster to 'Lagoon's Classic Roller Coaster'
  • A distinct name
  • Adjective + Roller Coaster format everybody uses (white roller coaster, wooden roller coaster, etc.)
  • Describes the ride
  • Includes the current name

I DEFINITELY wouldn't mind "Boneville" type displays for WK Train during Frightmares.

My teenagers were totally laughing at me for taking that garbage can photo. They kept saying "Hey Dad, There's another garbage can... you better take its picture!" Brats! lol

Hey Sid... Yeah, Magnum is right by that entrance/exit as well. Didn't know there were 4 entrances/exits. Wish Lagoon would add a full entrance to the Campground.

We had perfect weather. It was in the 70's / 60% humidity. It was 100 degrees in Utah the whole week I was in Michigan / Ohio. The air out there is more oxygenated as well. It was really easy to breath.

The park didn't look busy at all either. Raptor looked like a 30 Minute Max wait, if not 20.

It's true. I bought the fast pass bracelets but we honestly didn't need them. We walked into the Fast Pass entrance to find the line already short. We never skipped ahead of anyone. lol. I wonder if it wasn't busy because most people were traveling for the 4th? Not really sure but we enjoyed it.

I hear ya! I want to go back again already. I'm finding Lagoon a little bland since I got back.  Rolleyes

Great pictures! Makes me want to go back as well but not until Mean Streak's RMC conversion is done.
