Cool! Thanks!
Rename Roller Coaster to 'Lagoon's Classic Roller Coaster'
  • A distinct name
  • Adjective + Roller Coaster format everybody uses (white roller coaster, wooden roller coaster, etc.)
  • Describes the ride
  • Includes the current name

Of course! I wasn't able to get on last night and get it up after someone shared it on the Facebook page. Got up this morning to do it and you already had a topic up, so I figured it would be easier to just move it. Smile

Ha, I wondered! Was surprised to not see it here after it showed up on the FB page. Didn't mean to steal your scoop! Wink

Did anybody else get to watch this tonight? Thought they did a really good job of it! Great to see KUED put forth the effort to put together this great documentary on such a beloved local treasure. Was a bit disappointed they didn't cover Pioneer Village at all, but overall, a nice look at the history of the park (probably a lot more than most folks are familiar with).

I thought it was a very good documentary. I felt the end was a bit rushed and had hoped they were going to cover more of the parks history at least a little bit closer to modern day. Also coverage about PV. I know they operate on donations but I felt too much time was focused on that. I would have liked to hear more from Peter Freed.

I did like the format of the documentary. Got some ideas for my up coming one on Saltair.

It did seem to end abruptly. Maybe there's more in the "bonus features" they mentioned on the DVD and it just had to be cut for time.

Do they have it online anywhere to watch? I was working when it aired.

I haven't found it yet, but I'm poking around.  I did notice that KUED updated their webpage for the show with a few more video clips and lots of pictures, by the way.  Worth heading over there again if you haven't visited since last week (http://www.kued.org/whatson/kued-local-p...ercoasters)

P.S. -- It's supposed to replay tomorrow (Wed 7th) at 7pm, as well as Saturday at 6pm.
