  Lagoon Opens March 25

Lagoon's 2017 season begins on March 25! Of course, it all depends on the weather, so lets keep our fingers crossed that the weather improves enough to let us have our fun on the park again by the end of the month.

Lagoon's schedule will run weekends only until June 2nd this year. Like in previous years, the first six Saturdays of the season will run shorter hours. Here is a breakdown of the schedule for the first few months:

March 25 - April 30th
- Saturdays: 10am to 7pm
- Sundays: 11am - 6pm

May 6th - May 27th
- Saturdays: 10am - 10pm
- Sundays: 11am - 6pm

According to Lagoon's schedule, the campground will open May 5th.

New for 2017: Lagoon is adding two new family rides to their Kiddieland lineup. We don't know the details yet, but will share them as soon as we know more. Like in previous years, I wouldn't expect the new rides to be open the first few weekends while Lagoon finishes up installation, testing, and training. We also know Lagoon is doing work on at least one of their dark rides and maybe both.

I'm sure many of you probably hate being in the dark with what to expect, but I think it adds a bit of excitement as opening gets closer and closer. I for one can't wait to see what has changed! Are you excited for the new season? Are you planning on going opening day?

  Holiday Season Pass Pricing
User Avatar Forum: News & Announcements

Here is the breakdown for Lagoon's 2017 season pass prices now that Black Friday has ended:

Lagoon's holiday pricing is now in effect. Season passes are $105.95 per person. These prices will be good through January 6th then Lagoon will launch their regular pricing for 2017. Prices for people 65 and older will remain at $54.95 throughout 2017. A season parking pass is $55.

A couple of notes on the sale: Lagoon charges a $2 fee for each pass you purchase online, and the buy 4 or more and save deal is not in effect right now. The price is $105.95 per pass regardless of how many your purchase.

If you are curious what the prices may be starting on January 7th, Lagoon has increased the cost of season passes by $12 after the holiday sale the last few years in a row. Should Lagoon continue the pattern, season passes will probably be $117.95 for 1, 2, or 3 passes and $107.95 per pass for 4 or more. People who purchase 4 or more season passes at the Annex or the park in 2017 will probably pay the same as someone purchasing passes during the Holiday Sale with the $2 fee ($107.95). Of course, it is possible Lagoon increases season pass prices more than $12 this year. Regardless, the Holiday Sale is a good deal if you still need to pick up your season passes.
