2012 Season Ends Soon
Lagoon's 2012 season comes to an end this week. Lagoon is open Monday and Tuesday night starting at 5:00 p.m. for the final two nights of Frightmares. This is your last chance to enjoy some Lagoon fun before the gates are closed for good until next year.

This time of the year is just so sad...

Anyone going Monday and or Tuesday? We could meetup. Im planning on doing the traditional "Last" of the season stuff. Last rides, last games, last favorite Lagoon foods, etc.....

They are just taking down Skyscraper for routine maitinence right? I heard one rumor it was being torn down because of low popularity and prime real estate.

They take it down so snow doesn't have a chance of sitting in the carriers would be too much of a load on the ride structure. Happens every year. This year they let to stay open longer than usual I presume because the lights actually work. On your 2nd point they are not tearing it down. Lagoon does do dumb things sometimes but they just invested lots of money into getting the lights repaired its staying for a long time to come.
