I just realized that our next potluck is a week away! Yikes! I could have sworn it was a week later.

I doubt I will get the day off, but I have asked to work an early morning shift. Of course, I asked this last time and it didn't happen then, so we shall see what happens. I'm going to put a second request in tomorrow because the dates I gave my boss in June have been erased due to a system upgrade. I just wrote down the dates for September and October again, and I will submit those too. Please cross your fingers that I can show up at least to two more potlucks this year. I've only been to one so far.

I hope everyone has a good time with or without me. If I am there, I would like to request a group photo because we have not done one that I am aware of for quite some time now. I think it would be fun to get a shot of everyone again together.

I'm blaming UTA because it takes an hour and a half to get to Lagoon from my area.

I would like to ask a favor of everyone who is coming.

I really enjoy bringing the wine for everyone (of legal age). I will still bring 2 bottles but I am on my last case. If anyone plans to have some wine with dinner could some of you bring a bottle of store wine or two? I only ask because I NEED bottles. Joe and I are going to be needing lots more bottles than we currently have to bottle what we have brewed so far. If you bring a bottle make sure its a cork top and not a screw cap, no boones farm or wild vines.

This is not me being upset about anything, this is me pleading my friends for empty bottles. Even last year Joe and I had to drink 100 bottles before we could finish bottling. We are short at least 100 bottles. Every bottle helps.

I usually don't ask for much but I want to be able to bottle everything and get it taken care of so that it is not creating clutter.

I think I will bring a small crockpot of cheese sauce for people who like that. I am sure someone could bring some shredded cheese.
