Yes! A souped up, retro-looking, modern-built speedway! Double Thunder just doesn't fill the void that Speedway left.

Does anybody manufacture a ride similar to the old one anymore? I know a cookie cutter design wouldn't be adequate, but a customized track layout with retro building fronts like the old mini gas station (with miniature visible pumps maybe)... I also remember back in the day, you could see the cattle and goats that were inside of the center of roller coaster's track from speedway. Not sure how many years the animals were there. I think it was '77 or '78. Anyone else remember that?

Any construction company could build a track for a speedway type ride and then getting the cars would be pretty easy to do too.

Do a search for goats (top right, next to member list and calendar) There are quite a few topics that mention the goats and sheep.
