Everyone:

I also want to move forward with this contest idea. I want to use Trackbender's ideas, so we are going to go with that. We just need to finalize the contest scenario, so I need some feedback on the scenario's guidelines. Here is what I want to include in the guidelines:

• Steel type coaster with a chain lift
• Max height of the coaster must be between 200 - 225 feet
• Coaster must include inversions
  

Here is what I want some feedback on:

• Should the contest require a corkscrew inversion in the design?
• Should the contest require a unique element?
  

Let me know. If you have something to add, please share it. I would like to discuss this over the next week and pull ideas from everyone. I also need a volunteer who would be willing to create a template for this contest. Once we have the details worked out, I will announce a start and end date for this contest.

Finally, I'm working on a new method to select a winner for the next contest. I will reveal how that will work out at a later date.
