Thumbs Up Bombora - Lagoon's 2011 Roller Coaster
It's official. The name of Lagoon's next roller coaster is Bombora. Lagoon recently updated their home page over at LagoonPark.com with a simple graphic featuring roller coaster track, the name, and "Spring 2011."

I personally think that the picture of roller coaster track is just stock imagery, but I could be wrong.

Somewhat misleading for those who don't know how small it will be.

Braden, I agree with you. When I saw the image, the first thing that came to mind was the misconception over the size of the Bat that a good majority of the public had. I remember how much of a disappointment it was for everyone when they found out the new inverted roller coaster was just a family coaster. I worry that Lagoon is going to repeat the same mistakes by giving the public a misconception that they are building a new large roller coaster.

I Told EVERYONE that is was a Jr. Hang N' Bang! Laugh

The Funniest Story I heard was that Marketing was under the impression that is was a much larger suspended coaster, thus why they made the Marketing Campaign they did. Once the Lift was Topped Off, and they were able to see the size of it, they all asked "is that it?" Laugh

Yes you did, but the general public was still unaware of the actual size. I was referring to the general public.

You said "EVERYONE" in capital letters! So, Tongue

I also said "everyone," but it was not in capital letters.

Obviously, we both need to be more specific. Happy

I expect you to know the correct meaning of "EVERYONE" when I say it. Tongue
