Construction in Overflow Parking Not For New Ride
An interesting blog post was added to Theme Park Central titled "No new ride construction at Lagoon (yet)!" The post goes on to discuss construction that has begun in the overflow parking lot North of the Samurai. The construction can clearly be seen from Skyscraper as evidenced by a photo in the post. Dick Andrew responded to this by stating that the construction that is currently happening in the overflow parking lot is for a new road that will connect the Lagoon Annex with the rest of the park.

It looks like discussion regarding Lagoon's new roller coaster seems to be spreading. While the construction mentioned in the blog post is probably for the new road that Dick Andrew mentioned, that does not dismiss the fact that new roller coaster track has been placed in the overflow parking lot near the Annex and can be seen from the top of Skyscraper.

I LOVE how the photo from Sky Scraper conveniently leaves out the Bright Blue Track being Stored right next to the Lagoon Annex. I not sure if those Stacks of 40' Shipping Containers on the east side of the property have been there for a while or if they recently showed up. Jordan? Anyone?
I love how there are BIG BLACK Construction Walls in LAB and Piles in the shape of a Small Roller Coaster, but no construction is going on....Kinda like the GIANT Footers and Yellow Support Columns Cedar Point started putting up in 2002 before Top Thrill Dragster was announced. Perhaps now that Lagoon has made it on to the Travel Channel, they are gonna start playing like Big Boys. Who Knows, perhaps it's for a Fancy Tube Storage Area/Lockers/Terrace or AQUA TRAX!
