I would like to announce that Sid (linearinduction) will continue to assist me under the new position and title of Park Relations.

Sid will be responsible for contacting Lagoon on behalf of Lagoon Is Fun. He has been willing to contact Lagoon over the years to schedule the terrace for our potlucks, so I think this new position makes perfect sense for him. Plus, Sid has a good relationship with one of the members of the marketing team. I think it will work out well.

Sid has approached me with some ideas for expanding the website out into other areas. Many of you are aware of our relationship with Cowabunga Bay because of Sid. Things like that provide us with a little more to discuss and enjoy outside of Lagoon. While this site will always make Lagoon our primary focus, I think it is nice to have some other venues to talk about. I will post more on that at a later time.

As a reminder, the Lagoon Is Fun team breakdown is as follows:

For those of you who don't know, Lagoonatic is a special title that can be bestowed on someone in two ways. First, I give the title to those who I feel have earned it. The second method is through nomination. Current members of the forum with the title of Lagoonatic may nominate other members of the forum to receive that title.
