Puff the little Fire Dragon was installed shortly after Colossus The Fire Dragon and because it had a dragon train Lagoon felt it was fitting to name it after the big double looping roller coaster that the adults ride.
When Puff was installed it took the place of the Kiddie Coaster that sat in the same spot. The Puff coaster circles the track three times before coming to a stop. And don't be surprised if you find adults and teenagers on this ride as well. All sorts of people love riding on this little coaster.
The only improvement to the ride that I know of was in 1989 when one of the riders was able to get out of the safety restraints. Lagoon improved on the restraints quickly to prevent this problem from happening again.
