The Kontiki was installed with Dragonfly in 2004 when Lagoon focused on Kiddieland to improve the area for kids and parents. This ride is best described as a boat that swings back and forth like Tidal Wave, but spins in a circle. Don't worry, it doesn't spin or swing very fast and is very suitable for children of all ages and allows adults to ride as well..
If you think you are too old for Kiddieland rides, than you haven't been on this ride. It's not much, but it does offer some fun especially if you are riding with a bunch of kids. This ride is a big favorite among children and during busy days you can expect a wait to get on it.
