The first of Lagoon's 3 entertainment shows, Country Swing Jubilee, will begin performances tomorrow and run until September 1st.  The show is located in Lagoon's Carousel Theater.  Check the forum at the end of the weekend for forum member reviews of the new show.

Show times for the year based on Lagoon's Website are:

Tuesday - Saturday (Off Mondays)
2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm

Sunday
1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm

Please note that Country Swing Jubilee will not perform on Sunday, May 11 or May 18

Obviously the weekday showings only occur when Lagoon is open on weekdays.

We had a little bit of fun with Old Topics Week this past week.  It is now officially over and the old topic warning has been reactivated once again.  This doesn't mean you can't continue on any discussions we brought up but if you still feel like bumping another old topic it will warn you first.    We might have to try this again during the off season and extend it for just a bit longer.  This was only an idea that I wanted to experiment with and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Speaking of ideas, I want to let everyone know that your Lagoon Is Fun Team is actively working behind the scenes to bring about a couple of real fun ideas for the 2008 Lagoon operating season.  The announcements should be coming out very soon.  One regarding the Photo Contest which will expand the idea much further and add some fun to the competition and an event we are planning for later in the year.  I'm not going to say any more for the moment just wanted to give you all the heads up on that.

This week all forum members are invited to look through our collection of topics that haven't been replied to in quite some time and see if there is anything they can revive or add to.  This includes topics as that are just a few months old to topics that were discussed a couple years ago.  Feel free to browse the forum and see if you come across something that you find interesting and add your two cents to the thread.  This will be going on all week long.

Many of us will be interested in seeing what gets dug up from the Lagoon Is Fun Forum Past.  As an added benefit to this week the old topics warning will be deactivated from Sunday through Saturday this week only.

UTA's Frontrunner commuter rail officially opens this Saturday.  One of the stops included on the line is one in Farmington which will have a shuttle that takes people back and forth between the train station and Lagoon.  This will open up another alternative for people who want to visit the park but don't want to deal with the traffic or the parking.
